Kitchen Influenced by Styles of the Early 20th Century and Urban London

The Industrial Revolution was a time of drastic change and a time where they often prioritized function but kept a bit of style in forms. This kitchen borrows a bit of the kind of styles you're likely to see in an old alley in London or a solemnly lit pub. The black subway tile with grey grout is riminescent of the black brick walls which are common in the formerly industrial part of old south London. The brass faucets, sconce and European vent hood add to the vibe.

Victorian Studio-Style Great Room

We are enamored by Victorian style and many of the styles common from the late 19th century until the 1920s. This room is heavily influenced by that era, so much so that it includes an actual Victorian Square Grand Piano as the centerpiece. Floral patterns and wallpapers were staples of that era. So were fancy felt sofas, formed iron-bar bed frames and glitzy chandeliers. This room has all of that plus many more features such as over 40 linear feet of 5-foot tall windows! This one has more natural light than you could ever need plus luxurious black-out curtains to darken it as needed. This place is one of our favorites. Every time we are in it, we can hardly believe it's ours. This one is highly desired and practically sells itself to prospective tenants.

Modern Bathroom with a hint of early 20th Century Style

This bathroom has beautiful tile in the shower along with sliding doors which emulate the casement windows which were popular throughout the early 1900s. The Herrringbone pattern tile compliments this nicely and provides good contrast to the vanity and shower tile.
